Duties
- Install, service, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, boilers, radiators, and heating systems with precision and care
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and prevent system failures
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble and modify plumbing and heating components
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely to support installation and maintenance tasks
- Diagnose mechanical problems using technical knowledge and basic math calculations for system performance analysis
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project
Skills
- Proficiency in welding techniques for pipe fitting and repairs
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and venting
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex heating systems
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and pipe cutters
- Experience with power tools for cutting, drilling, and assembly tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system diagnostics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
- Familiarity with carpentry skills for framing or supporting installations when needed
- Valid commercial driving license for transporting equipment between sites
- Experience in assembly of mechanical components or systems
