Sales Territory Manager
Location: Greater London and South East
Candidates must be based within the Greater London or South East region, providing effective access to the territory and customer base, and enabling regular travel throughout the assigned area.
Salary: £50,000 + OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Due to the nature of this sales position, flexibility is required, with frequent travel across Central London and the South East including overnight stays where required.
About the Role
Unity Resourcing are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Sales Territory Manager to join a leading organisation within the dental industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service across an assigned territory. You will develop existing customer relationships, identify and convert new business opportunities, and promote a range of innovative dental products, solutions and services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is commercially driven, confident in building long-term customer relationships and ideally has experience within the dental or dental implant industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable sales growth and maximise revenue across the assigned territory.
- Develop, maintain and grow existing customer accounts through effective sales and relationship management.
- Identify, target and convert new business opportunities and prospective customers.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and identifying how products and solutions can support their growth.
- Develop and maintain territory business plans, sales forecasts and promotional activity.
- Regularly assess territory performance and adjust sales strategies and forecasts accordingly.
- Work closely with the wider sales, marketing and back-office teams to achieve company objectives.
- Support the delivery of marketing campaigns, product launches and new product sales initiatives.
- Attend customer meetings, regional events, national trade shows and other industry events as required.
- Make effective use of education and training events to develop existing customers, strengthen brand loyalty and generate new business.
- Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge, including clinical studies, scientific publications and the commercial benefits of the product portfolio.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information using CRM systems, including HubSpot, and BI dashboards.
- Analyse sales and customer data to identify opportunities, monitor performance and adjust activity to meet customer and territory requirements.
- Ensure all sales activities are planned, recorded and measured effectively.
About You
- 3+ years' sales experience, ideally within a B2B, medical device or healthcare environment.
- Experience or knowledge of the dental industry, preferably dental implants, would be advantageous.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear, structured and compelling way.
- Strong commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- A proactive, organised and results-driven approach.
- A high level of integrity, professionalism and commitment to ethical business practices.
- A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel domestically as required.
