What You Will Do

Prepare, cook and present fresh food to a consistently high standard

Support the delivery of efficient daily food service

Ensure all food is prepared safely and in line with dietary and allergen requirements

Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
-
Complete food safety records, cleaning schedules and stock-related administration

Replenish food and equipment throughout service periods

Work closely with the Head Chef and Catering Manager to deliver exceptional standards

Support school events, functions and hospitality services as required

Follow all health & safety, food safety and safeguarding procedures

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

Report any issues, incidents or concerns promptly

Assist with other kitchen duties and reasonable management requests as needed
What You Bring

Passion for fresh food and high-quality cooking
-
Experience preparing and cooking food in high-volume environments
-
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen management
-
Excellent teamwork and communication skills

A positive, enthusiastic and proactive attitude

Ability to work independently and use initiative

Flexibility, reliability and a strong work ethic

Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

This role involves sole working. As a result of the role's health and safety risk assessment and safeguarding requirements, the minimum age for this position is 18.
