Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation when needed, especially during busy service times or special events like banquets and catering functions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all food handling and food safety standards are met.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions.
- Support banquet and catering events by setting up bar stations and ensuring timely service for large groups.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, alcohol service, and workplace safety practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special occasions.
Requirements
- Prior experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly desirable, especially with banquet or catering experience.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Experience serving drinks as a bartender or barista is preferred; knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds.
