The Three Fishes, Mitton
We are looking for experienced Front of House team members to join us at The Three Fishes — a restaurant built on sustainability and farm-to-fork dining, using home-grown, organic produce alongside the very best from local suppliers. We take real pride in pairing warm, genuine hospitality with exceptional food and service, and we're looking for someone who shares that standard.
This is a part-time, permanent position, with flexible working patterns to suit — including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
The Role
- Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their table or the bar, setting the tone for their visit
- Take food and drink orders accurately, liaising clearly with the kitchen and bar team
- Serve food and drinks to a high standard of presentation, pace and care
- Guide guests through the menu and seasonal specials, recommending dishes and pairings with genuine knowledge rather than a hard sell
- Keep the dining room, bar and service stations clean, organised and guest-ready throughout service
- Follow food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times
- Handle guest queries and any issues with confidence and care, turning first-time visitors into regulars
- Bring energy and warmth to the team, helping create the atmosphere that keeps guests coming back
About You
- At least two years' experience in hospitality, restaurant or bar service
- A confident, clear communicator with guests and colleagues alike
- Calm and efficient under pressure during busy service
- Well-organised, with a genuine eye for detail
- Friendly, approachable and professional at all times
- Proud of your work, and glad to be part of a team rather than just on a shift
- Previous experience in a similar front-of-house role is essential — but if you're earlier in your career and keen to develop within a fine dine environment, we'd still love to hear from you
