The Role
You will own FinregE's SEO strategy, content production, and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) initiatives. You will write and publish blog posts, optimize landing pages, implement structured data, track performance, and ensure our website ranks for high-value RegTech and compliance keywords.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy targeting RegTech, compliance, and financial regulation keywords
- Content Production: Write 2-4 blog posts/month on regulatory change, compliance workflows, AI in RegTech, and industry-specific insights (Banking, Insurance, Payments, Crypto, ESG)
- AEO Optimization: Optimize content for AI answer engines (Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT) using structured data, direct answers, and FAQ schemas
- Keyword Research: Identify and prioritize high-intent keywords (e.g., "regulatory horizon scanning," "automated compliance software," "AI policy mapping")
- Landing Page Optimization: Update and optimize 30+ SEO landing pages with fresh content, keyword targeting, and conversion-focused CTAs
- Structured Data: Implement and maintain JSON-LD schemas (FAQ, Article, Organization, Product) across all pages
- Analytics & Reporting: Track traffic, rankings, and conversions using Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Ahrefs/Semrush; provide monthly performance reports
- Link Building & Outreach: Identify backlink opportunities within the RegTech, financial services, and compliance communities
- Content Calendar: Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with regulatory deadlines, product launches, and industry events
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of SEO and content marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, RegTech, or financial services
- Proven track record of improving organic traffic and keyword rankings
- Strong writing skills with ability to produce clear, authoritative content on complex regulatory topics
- Experience with Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar SEO tools
- Understanding of structured data, schema markup, and AEO principles
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Sanity.io, Contentful, or WordPress)
- Ability to interpret analytics data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Nice to Have
- Existing knowledge of financial regulation (Basel, MiFID, DORA, FCA, PRA, MAS, APRA)
- Experience with RegTech or compliance technology products
- Understanding of AI search and generative AI optimization trends
- Background in financial services, law, or regulatory affairs

- Optimizing product pages (Horizon Scanning, Global Rules Library, Policy Mapping, Compliance Workflows) for search visibility
- Ensuring all 200+ blog posts and 30+ SEO landing pages rank effectively
- Building a content pipeline that supports lead generation and demo bookings
