This is a varied, hands-on role combining cleaning, housekeeping and light grounds maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining both the interior and exterior of our facilities to a consistently high standard.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently and notices the little details that make a big difference to the appearance of our stores.
Main Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum and mop corridors and communal areas.
- Dust and wipe doors, walls, skirting boards, handrails and other surfaces.
- Remove cobwebs and keep storage corridors looking their best.
- Clean reception areas, toilets and customer facilities.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Pick litter and keep external areas clean and presentable.
- Use a leaf blower to keep paths, entrances and car parks tidy.
- Carry out light grounds maintenance, including weeding and general upkeep.
- Clean entrance doors and windows where required.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and grounds maintenance tools are used safely, maintained and stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
- Help manage stock levels of cleaning products and consumables.
No two days are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy and takes satisfaction in seeing immediate results from their work.

- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.

- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- A holder of a full UK driving licence with access to their own transport (preferred), as travel between our Lisburn and Mallusk sites may be required.
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, facilities, caretaking or grounds maintenance is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
