Job Title: Cleaner
Location: Tamba Day Nursery Chadwell Heath
Responsible to: The Manager
Main Responsibilities:
- To ensure the porch area floor Is cleaned and the glass door is wiped down using window cleaner.
- To ensure all toilets are cleaned inside as well as outside thoroughly. i.e. toilet seats, toilet basin – cubicle walls in the toilet and the cubicle doors
- To ensure that around the toilet area is moped including the bathroom corners.
- To be responsible for cleaning around the sink area as well as in the sink.
- To make sure that all bins are empted in the bathrooms and staff room.
- To ensure that the staircase is hovered as well as the upstairs and down stairs, banister is cleaned and corridor is swept and moped.
- Ensure porch area is mopped and cleaned on a daily basis.
- Gates on either side of the corridor is thoroughly cleaned and all door handles are wiped down in your cleaning area.
- Replenish all cleaning products; soaps toilet rolls.
- Staff room to be swept and moped and table to be wiped down. This includes emptying the bin if not already done so.
Additional Responsibilities:
· To ensure that there is a high level of hygiene in the nursery at all times.
· Please ensure you regularly wash and wipe down items people touch frequently, such as door handles, taps, light switches, walls and doors of toilet cubicles.
· Checking and closing all doors, windows and lights.
· Keeping the cleaning cupboard clean
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00 per hour
