Efficient Logistics Ltd is expanding its delivery operations across the East & West Midlands, we are looking for an experienced Amazon DSP On-Site Manager (OSM) to join our management team.
This is not a trainee management position.
We already have an established operational and management structure and are specifically looking for someone who understands Amazon DSP operations and can contribute from the outset.
The Role
You will take day-to-day responsibility for an Amazon delivery operation, including:
* Managing daily dispatch and route coverage
* Leading and supporting Delivery Associates
* Monitoring on-road performance and route completion
* Managing attendance, call-outs and operational issues
* Driver coaching and performance management
* Monitoring key Amazon performance metrics and scorecard results
* Ensuring safety, vehicle and operational compliance
* Managing rescues and on-road support
* Liaising professionally with Amazon station management
* Supporting recruitment, onboarding and driver development
* Identifying problems early and taking ownership through to resolution
Who We’re Looking For
Previous Amazon DSP operational experience is essential.
Ideally, you are already working — or have previously worked — as an OSM, Operations Manager, Lead Driver or in a similar Amazon DSP management position.
You should be:
* Confident managing a busy delivery operation
* Calm and decisive under pressure
* Highly organised
* Comfortable managing and coaching drivers
* Familiar with Amazon DSP systems, terminology and performance expectations
* Data and performance focused
* Firm when necessary while remaining respectful and professional
* Able to communicate confidently with Amazon and senior management
* Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do

Location: Midlands
Pay: £160–£180 Plus VAT per day, dependent on experience
Schedule: Full-time, including weekend availability as required by the operation

Duties

- Develop and implement site plans using Primavera P6 project management software to track progress and resource allocation
- Enforce health and safety protocols rigorously to create a secure working environment for all personnel
- Monitor daily site activities, conduct inspections, and resolve issues promptly to minimize delays
- Manage on-site logistics, including materials delivery, equipment usage, and waste disposal
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, safety incidents, and resource utilization for senior management
Skills
- Proven management experience in construction or industrial site environments with a track record of successful project delivery
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture
- Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling tools for effective planning and tracking
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ability to identify potential risks early and implement corrective actions swiftly
- Demonstrated leadership in managing safety compliance and promoting best practices on-site
