ASB Officer – Housing Association – About The Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a well-established, local housing association in Manchester who are looking to appoint an ASB Officer on a temporary basis. This is an initial 9-month contract with a pay rate of £26 - £29 per hour via umbrella and offering flexible hybrid working. Please note the hiring manager is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
ASB Officer – Housing Association – About The Role:
- Lead investigations and resolution of complex ASB and community safety cases, ensuring timely action, compliance with legislation and policies, and a positive customer experience for tenants and residents.
- Use prevention, intervention, enforcement, and partnership approaches to tackle ASB, reduce homelessness risks, support vulnerable residents, and help create safe, sustainable communities.
- Provide a victim-centred response to serious incidents including violence, domestic abuse, hate crime, and safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate support, referrals, and protection measures are in place.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, Police, Local Authorities, third-sector organisations, and multi-agency partnerships to address community safety issues, vulnerability, exploitation, and criminal activity.
- Engage proactively with tenants and residents, maintain accurate records, prepare and present legal cases where necessary, and contribute to service improvement, policy development, and performance outcomes.
ASB Officer – Housing Association – What You Need:
- Previous experience working as an ASB Officer within a Social Housing provider
- Availability to start the role at short notice
- Valid UK drivers license
Pay: £26.00-£29.00 per hour
