ROLE: Maintenance Technician
HOURS: 42 hours per week
LOCATION: Leeds

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician who will carry out general maintenance duties, supporting facilities operations across Leeds (LS11 8BU) with possible travel to Normanton and Carr Gate sites within a 10-mile radius, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
- Carry out general porterage, cleaning support where required, decorating duties as requested by the Facilities Manager, and maintain internal and external entrances and surrounding areas
- Undertake routine checks on plant and equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions are achieved
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a regular basis in line with schedules and requirements
- Carry out building fabric activities including patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, and decorating tasks
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed in line with safety standards, compliance requirements, and site expectations
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
- Previous experience as a handy person or in a general maintenance role with broad practical skills
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
- Physical dexterity and manual handling capability
- Full valid driving licence
- Ability to meet West Yorkshire Police vetting requirements
- Company van provided for travel between sites
