An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and professional administrator to join a team supporting work aligned to the new Resident Doctor Contract in Wales. The Administrator to the Lead Guardian of Safe and Flexible Working will work closely with the Lead Guardian and Guardians across NHS Wales to receive, monitor and support the reporting of information relating to resident doctors’ rotas and exception reporting. The post holder will play a key role in monitoring data, identifying emerging trends and patterns, and supporting effective reporting arrangements.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
The principal duties of the post include:
Providing professional, efficient and effective administrative support to the Lead Guardian of Safe and Flexible Working .
Collating and disseminating information to Health Boards to support compliance with the Resident Doctors’ terms and conditions.
Undertaking analysis of exception reporting data received from Health Boards to identify trends, patterns and areas requiring further consideration.
Communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders, including resident doctors, educational supervisors, service managers and rota co-ordinators.
Co-ordinating meetings in support of the Lead Guardian of Safe and Flexible Working’s responsibilities.
