Job Overview
Working within our onsite Control Panel Workshop, the Store Operative is responsible for managing the day-to-day handling, storage, and control of stock to ensure materials and equipment are available, organised, and accurately recorded. The role supports the smooth running of operations by receiving deliveries, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Proactively maintain clean and tidy goods in/out and stores areas.
- Receive and unpack goods from external delivery partners. Validate delivery and distribute to workshop, stores or elsewhere as necessary.
- Pick product from stores for workshop requirements.
- Pick product from stores for off-site requirements.
- Monitor stores to ensure minimum stock levels are available for all goods lines.
- Work closely with others within Purchasing department to ensure all duties are met.
- Keep and maintain necessary records using stock management system.
- Support Purchasing Department with annual stock take.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
