Overview
We are seeking 2 (part time/full time) reliable and professional Delivery Van Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Duties
- Transport goods to designated locations around the UK
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Confirm deliveries with recipients and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and major motorway routes
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record (No more than 3 points) - Must be over 25 due to insurance
- Experience driving vans in a commercial setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Good organisational skills for route planning and record keeping
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Own vehicle to get to and from the depot
- May be required to start early amd finish late due to the nature of the work load
- Part time and full time contracts available
