Job Summary
Job entails
- Cleaning crockery, cutlery, kitchen surfaces and kitchen equipment. Plus keeping them in a hygienic condition and storing them correctly.
- As a kitchen porter you will be part of the kitchen team and have the opportunity to assist the chefs with their prep.
- General working hours are are 3pm - around 10.30pm but can vary depending on what events we have on.
- We have a superb team who are all friendly and help each other out. The front of house team and the chefs aren't afraid of stepping in to help in the kp section when needed.
- The hours per week can vary depending on business and other kp's holidays
- Potential for additional hours in other departments can be available if so desired.
Requirements
- Must be fully flexible through the week.
- Own transport is a must due to location
- Good work ethic and high standard of cleanliness.

- Is able to communicate and work confidently as part of a team
- Has experience as a Kitchen Porter
- Is hard-working, self-motivated and reliable
- Is pro-active and has dedication and stamina to ensure that the cleanliness of our kitchens, surrounding areas and all kitchen equipment is continuously maintained to a high standard.
- We are open about working hours as we can hire multiple candidates if necessary.

A little about us:
Elfordleigh is an independent family run 3 star hotel, golf course and leisure centre in Plympton, Plymouth in the Beautiful South West of England. The hotel has begun with serious refurbishments for the purpose to provide 4 star accommodation and service, whilst providing our guests and members a “your home away from home” experience.
We are open for food all day and host an array of functions from weddings, birthday parties and baby showers to Christmas parties & conferences.
