Role Description
The Property Asset Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom. This role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties, ensuring optimal asset performance, occupancy, and tenant satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include managing leases and renewals, coordinating property maintenance, monitoring arrears, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Property Asset Manager will also analyze financial performance, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and identify opportunities to improve yield and reduce vacancies. Collaboration with landlords, tenants, and internal teams is essential to support NY Properties’ focus on transparency and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Property Management skills, including portfolio oversight and tenant relationship management.
- Candidates should possess Lease Administration and Leases experience, including drafting, reviewing, and managing lease terms and renewals.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Commercial Real Estate, including market trends, asset performance, and risk assessment.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, including financial analysis, forecasting, and cost control for property assets.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field are beneficial.
- Professional certifications in property or asset management (e.g., RICS or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple properties, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
