Salary: Circa £26,000 per annum (London Living Wage equivalent), increasing with responsibility
Hours: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00am - 4:00/5:00pm)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Renewable Energy Operative to join a growing renewable energy installation team specialising in solar PV systems.
Working alongside experienced solar and electrical installers, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality renewable energy installations across domestic and commercial projects. This is a hands-on role offering full training and excellent long-term career prospects.
For the right individual, there is genuine progression available, with the opportunity to develop into a Team Leader and manage your own installation team within a few years.
Assist with the installation of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems
Carry out groundwork to support solar and electrical installations
Install cable containment and run electrical cabling
Load and prepare equipment and company vehicles for daily works
Drive company vehicles to and from project sites
Operate powered equipment, including IPAF equipment where required
Install solar skirts and bird protection systems
Complete risk assessments and follow safe systems of work
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Complete job documentation and sign-off paperwork accurately
Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations, MCS standards, and Building Regulations
Keep work sites, vehicles, and company premises clean, organised, and safe
Ability to work safely at height using scaffolding, ladders, IPAF, and rope access systems
Strong work ethic with pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Well-presented and professional attitude
Excellent attention to detail
Competent using hand and power tools
Organised and reliable approach to work
Ability to complete job documentation accurately
Full UK driving licence
Own transport to travel to the Petersfield depot (there are no public transport links)
