Dispenser / Trainee Dispenser
Total number of hours – 26.5
Three full days per week (7.5 hours per day) and Saturday (4 hours)
Castle Chemist is a patient focused, independent community pharmacy group serving Castle Douglas and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a dispenser to join our friendly team.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing, organising and dispensing blister packs
- Assisting with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Providing a high standard of customer service to patients
- Supporting the pharmacist and liaising with the pharmacy team
- Awareness of stock levels and ordering as appropriate
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional working environment
Skills and qualities we are looking for
- Previous pharmacy dispensing experience is highly desirable
- Friendly, professional and confident in communicating with customers
- Attention to detail and meticulous in dispensing
- Excellent organisational skills and works with initiative
- Works positively and well in the team environment
- Has a genuinely caring attitude and a real desire to make a difference to our patients and to the local community
