We are working on behalf of a successful independent accountancy practice in Redditch that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing team.
This role would suit an experienced practice accountant looking for autonomy, client exposure, and a clear path for future progression within a friendly, well-run firm.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing a portfolio of SME clients
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts across a mixed client base
- Completing corporation tax computations and returns
- Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact
- Reviewing junior team members’ work
- Supporting the partners and wider team as the firm continues to grow
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- Have current or recent experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Be ACA / ACCA qualified or QBE
- Be confident dealing directly with clients
- Possess strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
- Be proactive, organised, and commercially aware
