Welder / Fabricator
We’re recruiting on behalf of several well-established engineering companies across the Sheffield & Chesterfield. As a key member of the fabrication and production team, you’ll contribute to the manufacture of bespoke components and play an important role in delivering high-quality, specialist engineering projects.
Package:
- Hours: Days only, with the option of a 4-day working week (Friday off & long weekend) with selected clients
- Salary: £16.00ph - £18.50ph (Depending on experience) + overtime paid at enhanced rates
- Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality welding and fabrication across a range of materials
- Safely operate hand and power tools for fabrication tasks
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Fabricate and assemble components to ensure precision and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all health & safety guidelines
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication and/or mechanical fitting
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Reliable, motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work
Pay: £16.50-£18.50 per hour
