We are looking for a Complex Needs Support Worker to join our dedicated team delivering community-based support to individuals with complex mental health needs across Weston-super-Mare, Taunton, Bristol, Nailsea and surrounding areas.

Duties
You will be supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, which may include:
- Emotional dysregulation
- Trauma-related experiences
- Anxiety and depression
- Other complex psychiatric presentations
Your role will focus on creating a safe, consistent, and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing, independence, and recovery.
You will:
- Build safe, therapeutic relationships
- Provide consistent emotional support
- Use trauma-informed approaches in everyday interactions
- Support emotional regulation through grounding and coping techniques
- Encourage independence and positive daily routines

Skills
- Have experience in mental health or complex needs (preferred but not essential)
- Have experience in working with children/young adults
- Are calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent
- Can remain composed under pressure
- Believe in trauma-informed, person-centred care
- Communicate clearly and respectfully
- Are reliable, committed, and proactive

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
