Salary: £22.00 per hour (Poolside/On-the-job) + an additional admin rate per pool managed
Job Type: Part-time, Self-Employed

About the Role
Are you looking for a flexible, rewarding independent consultancy role? Do you thrive in a leadership environment and love making a difference in children's lives?
SwimEasy is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and caring Progress Advisor to work with us in Edinburgh. This is the ideal opportunity for an independent professional who wants to secure consistent weekend morning work across the academic year without committing to a full-time schedule.
You do not need to be an Olympic swimmer to work with us. While a knowledge of swimming is essential, what we value most is your ability to lead, organise, and connect with people. We will fully coach you on our unique methodology so you can seamlessly integrate our standards into your delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Manage: Deliver high-quality oversight of weekend morning swimming lessons.
- Support & Coach: Act as an on-site leader, helping our teachers deliver their best work.
- Customer Care: Provide a friendly, helpful, and professional point of contact for parents and children.
- Administration: Manage the independent record-keeping and admin duties for each pool under your care to ensure a seamless, professional operation.
- Team Collaboration: Attend 2 weekly online meetings to align on company standards and programme updates.
What We Are Looking For
- Term Commitment: Ability to commit to our structured delivery schedule of 4 x 9-week terms throughout the year (primarily Saturday and Sunday mornings with a view to extra teaching days).
- Excellent Communicators: This is a people-centric role. You should be confident and professional when communicating face-to-face, e-mail and over the phone with parents, teachers, children, and venue staff.
- Organisers & Problem Solvers: Highly organised individuals capable of managing logistics across different pool locations.
- Independent Mindset: Reliable, self-motivated, and open to embracing and delivering on specific company methodologies.
What's in it for You?
- Competitive Compensation: A strong rate of £22 per hour for poolside delivery, plus an extra dedicated administrative rate for each pool you manage.
- Structured Flexibility: Work centred entirely around 4 predictable, 9-week term blocks. Extra potential school holiday hours are also available.
- Comprehensive Onboarding: Full support and training from our established Progress team to set you up for success.
At SwimEasy, nobody does it better! Come and partner with a family company that loves what they do.
