Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-in Care Assistant to provide personalised support to individuals in their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be attentive to detail, and have a genuine desire to deliver high-quality care. Previous experience in care homes or home care settings is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalised care in accordance with individual care plans, supporting clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed routines.
- Support clients in engaging with social activities and community outings, promoting mental and physical well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in health status promptly.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Assist with light household duties including meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not mandatory; full training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and communication records.
- Valid driving licence is required to support transportation requirements.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.

Pay: £488.40-£900.00 per week
