We are looking for bright, cheerful and enthusiastic candidates for providing a high level of care for our Residents at Llandaff House. We are a small 21 bed Dementia and Residential Home based in Llangennech. Ideally you should have some some experience in a care setting however this is not essential as full training will be provided. NVQ/QCF Level 2 is preferred or a willingness to work towards.
We want individuals who wish to develop and learn new skills and who truly enjoy this type of rewarding work. Duties will include assisting our team to deliver personal care to our Residents and to ensure we support them in their later years and are able to live a happy and as fulfilled life as possible. It is important you have excellent communication and team working skills and have a compassionate nature to ensure all of our Residents are treated with respect and dignity and all times.
Subject to a probationary period of three months you will enjoy a permanent contract and a very supportive management team.
We have part time and full time hours available and these hours can be flexible. The shifts are on a rota basis over seven days to include,12 hour shifts and if applicable night shifts. We have free on site parking.
A full DBS disclosure will be required and the full cost will be paid by the employer. We also require two references.
