Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying filler, sanding down, priming , caulking and finish coats on door frames ,ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within the construction and refurbishment sectors, contributing to the aesthetic and protective qualities of buildings and structures. A valid cscs card and good communication skills are essential for this position. NO CARD NO JOB AND PPE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking to ensure a smooth finish.
- Apply paints and decorative coatings using brushes
- Follow technical specifications and safety guidelines to achieve desired results.
- Assist in the preparation of work sites, including moving furniture or materials as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each project.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding project progress and requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is preferred.
- Good command of English language for effective communication on-site.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for colour matching and finishing quality.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to painting and decorating work.
