Head of Case Management
Wolverhampton / Hybrid
Full-time | Permanent
We are recruiting an experienced Case Management professional to establish and lead a new in-house Case Management division for a growing CQC-regulated complex care provider.
This is an opportunity to join at the beginning of an exciting new service. Initially, you will remain hands-on, managing your own caseload of complex clients while developing the operational structure, processes and referral pathways.
As the service grows, you will recruit and develop additional Case Managers and take responsibility for leading the department.
The role
- Manage your own caseload of complex community clients
- Establish and develop the new Case Management service
- Build effective operational processes, governance and reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with ICBs, NHS commissioners, solicitors and other referral partners
- Coordinate complex care, rehabilitation and associated services
- Recruit, support and lead Case Managers as the service grows
- Maintain high standards across safeguarding, risk, quality and CQC compliance
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop and grow the service
About you
We are looking for an experienced Case Manager with strong operational experience and a background in complex care, rehabilitation, catastrophic injury, ABI, spinal injury or a related area.
You will have experience of leading people, developing services or implementing operational processes, alongside the ability to personally manage a caseload during the initial growth of the service.
Experience working with ICBs, NHS commissioners, solicitors, insurers or within the medico-legal sector would be particularly valuable.
A relevant clinical or professional registration would be advantageous; however, substantial Case Management and complex care experience will also be considered. This is consistent with the original specification provided for the role.
Working arrangements
Regular attendance at the Wolverhampton office will be required initially while the service is established. Once established, there is scope for the position to become predominantly remote, with approximately monthly attendance at the Wolverhampton office.
A competitive senior-level package is available, with the potential for an additional performance or profit-related incentive for the right person.
If you are an experienced Case Management professional looking for the opportunity to build, develop and ultimately lead a new service, we would be very interested in hearing from you.
