Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver/Installer to join our team. This role involves delivering products to clients, installing equipment on-site and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities and physical stamina for heavy lifting and installation tasks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, to deliver products to various locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring secure transportation and handling of goods.
- Install equipment or products at customer sites according to specifications and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, installations and service reports.
- Follow health and safety protocols during all phases of delivery and installation activities.
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver and installer
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safe driving practices within the UK.
- Experience working in warehouse environments or with heavy lifting equipment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during installations.
- Experience with the use of power tools for installation purposes
- Organised with good time management skills to ensure timely deliveries and installations.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards.
- CSCS card would be an advantage
- Good customer facing skills
