Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers by assisting with lesson preparation and delivering targeted learning activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help with their studies
- Use effective presentation skills to deliver engaging instructional content using various tools, including Adobe Captivate
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging participation and confidence in their learning journey
- Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers for tailored support strategies
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and active engagement
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure cohesive support for student needs
Requirements
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver clear, engaging lessons or activities
- Previous experience in teaching or supporting learners is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents
- Familiarity with educational technology tools such as Adobe Captivate or similar software is preferred
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for education and supporting student development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
