Position: SEN Teacher
Location: Tile House School – Buckinghamshire, MK18 5AN
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent | Term time only

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team at Tile House School, a brand-new specialist school opening in Buckinghamshire.
We're looking for an inspirational SEN Teacher who is passionate about changing lives through education. As one of our first teaching staff, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, curriculum and future of our school while delivering exceptional learning experiences for pupils with Autism and additional needs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for individuals and small groups, tailored to pupils' individual needs.
- Create, review and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans and personalised learning programmes.
- Monitor, assess and celebrate pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and identifying next steps.
- Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence and achievement.
- Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, behaviour and personal development using nurturing and therapeutic approaches.
- Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to curriculum development, whole-school improvement and the continued growth of our brand-new school.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of every pupil, ensuring the highest standards of care, wellbeing and inclusion.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience supporting children and young people with Autism, SEND, SEMH or other complex needs.
- Is passionate about delivering creative, inclusive and personalised learning.
- Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Is organised, reflective and committed to achieving the very best outcomes for every learner.
- Is resilient, adaptable and excited by the opportunity to help establish a brand-new specialist school.
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-informed practice.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
