About the Team:
This role is based within the Business Transformation & Change team, comprised of specialists that support the XPS business in Project Management and Project Support.
We’re seeking to resource a Project Manager role in the Business Transformation & Change team to support business growth and an on-going demand for project management.
Key Responsibilities:
As a project manager you will work on small to medium sized projects, often with Senior Project Manager support, where your areas of responsibility will include:

Delivery of the agreed project scope.
- Setup and maintenance of all project documents (PID, Plan, RAID Log, etc).
- Setup, attendance and leading of required internal and external calls.
- Communication (written and verbal) to internal stakeholders, clients and other 3rd parties.
- Successful completion of the project to the agreed milestones and live dates.
- Assist with tracking and charging of any fees associated with the project delivery.
New Business Activity:

This is a significant area for the Project Management team, covering new business opportunities for DB and DC schemes and the Annuity/Insurance area of pensions administration. Activity begins at the tender process where team members assist with producing tender documents including providing high level project plans, indicative timelines and overviews of the how we manage the work relating to the project requested.
Existing Clients:

Provide project management for ad-hoc client projects across the XPS Group. Examples of such projects are GMP projects, Buy-in/Buy outs, Investment Changes, Calculation basis changes, Digital or Communications projects.
Business Change & System Development Projects

Involved in managing business change projects and the development of new systems/enhancement of existing systems. Business change projects can include the acquisition and integration of new business units. System projects will involve liaising directly with XPS IT or third-party system developers to ensure the project remains on track.
Your Profile:
Essential:
Knowledge & Eperience

Project Management experience from concept to implementation, preferably in a similar industry.
- Experience of technical and business change deliveries is desirable.
- A good understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of having worked in pensions industry a distinct advantage.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a distinct advantage.
