Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Carer to join our team, providing high-quality care within a care home specialising in senior care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The position is paid and requires a committed individual with excellent communication skills and relevant experience in supervising and caring for older adults.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s individual needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, providing guidance and leadership within the team.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including documentation of health status and progress notes.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to coordinate care delivery.
- Support residents’ emotional well-being through companionship and engaging activities.
- Ensure the safety of residents by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly.
- Drive residents when necessary, ensuring their safe transportation for appointments or outings.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within a care home environment specialising in senior care.
- Supervising or leadership experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Valid driving licence with the ability to drive residents safely when required.
- Strong understanding of care plans, health & safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine commitment to delivering high standards of person-centred care.

Pay: £14.75 per hour
