We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Team.
This role will be located at our warehouse facility in Leyton Industrial Avenue, while ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties through regular site visits.
Responsibilities
1. Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and
sanitizing surfaces in common areas, kitchens, bathrooms, and individual student rooms. Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organisation of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure a comfortable and pleasant environment for all guests, students and staff.
2. Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries in common areas and individual rooms as
needed
3. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly, ensuring recycling procedures are
followed.
4. Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the appropriate personnel.
5. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all necessary items are available for efficient operation.
6. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using cleaning products and equipment
responsibly and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
7. Interact courteously with students and staff, addressing any concerns or requests in a professional manner.
8. Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment
9. Support warehouse team to prepare items for delivery to properties.
10. Carry, lift, and transport products within the warehouse and other premisses.
11. Assist in receiving and processing shipments.
12. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse space.
13. Follow safety guidelines when handling heavy or hazardous materials.
14. Perform additional warehouse-related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in cleaning and hygiene.
