We are a growing, super friendly team with big plans, and we are looking for a positive, organised person to help keep our sales team moving.
Job Role:
This is a busy, varied support role at the heart of our sales team. You will help our Business Development Managers and Account Managers stay organised, follow up opportunities and keep customer information up to date, giving them more time to build relationships and sell.
No two days will be exactly the same. You might be updating spreadsheets, supporting call diaries, sending WhatsApp updates, preparing sales information or helping with social media. It could suit someone taking their first step into a lively foodservice business, or an experienced administrator who enjoys a fast-moving, friendly team.
· Supporting Business Development Managers and Account Managers with day-to-day administration so they can focus on customer visits, account growth and new business.
· Keeping customer, prospect and pipeline information accurate, tidy and up to date.
· Using Excel confidently to manage lists, track actions, update sales information and spot anything that needs following up.
· Supporting WhatsApp updates, customer communications and social media activity in a professional, accurate and helpful way.
· Working closely with sales, buyers, fishmongers, office colleagues and depot teams to keep information flowing smoothly.
Skills/Experience Required:
· A positive, can-do attitude is essential. We want someone friendly, reliable, curious and happy to get stuck in.
· Strong organisation skills, good attention to detail and the ability to keep on top of several tasks at once.
· Confident Excel, Word, Outlook and general IT skills, including maintaining accurate spreadsheets.
· Confidence using WhatsApp and social media professionally.
· Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and helpful approach to colleagues and customers.
· This could suit someone starting out and looking to grow into sales, or an established administrator who wants to join a positive, people-focused team.
Why join us? We are a super friendly bunch with plenty going on and lots to learn. You will get variety, support, food knowledge, customer contact and the chance to grow with the business. If you are organised, upbeat, Excel-confident and ready to make a real difference to a busy sales team, we would love to hear from you.
If you are interested in the above position, please contact Lisa Pearce at [email protected]. You will need to provide a copy of an up-to-date CV and any extra information on why you think you’re right for the role.
We will give very careful consideration to all submissions and we will contact you within 1- 2 weeks if you have been selected to continue in our recruitment process.
We wish you every success.
