JDI Legal are currently working with a long standing and established firm of solicitors based here in the North East who are looking at succession planning for their busy civil litigation department.
My clients are a firm that I have worked with over the last 20 years and operate from premises on a buoyant high street and have a brilliant reputation in their locality. With a great working culture and modern systems they can offer an excellent working environment.
The role would involve inheriting a busy caseload and working closely with other members of the team including a partner and experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor. The department covers a range of contentious matters including landlord and tenant disputes, debt recovery, contentious probate, professional negligence, shareholder disputes etc.
The appointment is needed due to succession for a member of staff looking to wind down across the next 12 months so a good handover period is possible. Its likely the successful person would suit someone with a minimum of 5PQE+ but those with more PQE will be considered, who has a proven track record of running their own caseload.
