Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Jaguar Land Rover Technician to join our dedicated automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics, diagnostic software, and hand tools to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine work, brake servicing, suspension repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for assembly, disassembly, and repair procedures.
- Carry out equipment repair and maintenance to ensure workshop tools and machinery are in optimal condition.
- Execute welding and fabrication tasks as required for custom repairs or modifications.
- Assist in the assembly of vehicle components during repair or refurbishment processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or equipment around the workshop.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed in accordance with manufacturer standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Jaguar Land Rover vehicles or similar luxury brands is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Experience in vehicle assembly, maintenance, and equipment repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in automotive repair are preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
