Job Overview
We are recruiting a cleaner to work within an exhibition, this is a short term temporary job. This is working Tuesday 4th August and Wednesday 5th August from 5pm-8pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain hygiene in common areas such as restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and reception areas.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently to ensure optimal results.
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to ensure availability at all times.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management for quick resolution.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during scheduled times or as directed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable punctuality and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous.
Pay: £14.80 per hour
