Systems Co-ordinator required for a specialist test and research organisation with head offices in the Kettering area and further sites overseas. The role will be based in a department dedicated to testing Furniture and Floor Coverings on behalf of a global customer base.
The role will involve:
· Maintaining and improving record keeping of quality related documentation (ie calibration certificates, equipment maintenance records, certificates of conformity, standard reference materials, gap analysis, software validations, spreadsheet validations
· Performing calibrations, drift analysis, risk assessments, witnessed assessments and uncertainty of measurement budgets - working to agreed deadlines
· Managing check testing and participating in inter-laboratory trials
· Supporting Managers with the annual UKAS audit
· Co-ordinating ISO17025 accreditation schedule extensions
· Assisting with the creation of standard operating procedures
· Working with Health & Safety and Head of Departments to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements
· Maintaining personal training and competency records
· Purchasing and verifying standard materials
· Completion of COSHH records where applicable

· Laboratory experience or qualifications at A-Levels or equivalent in Science or Mathematics based subjects

Desirable experience:
· Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control / quality management
· Good understanding of quality systems and ISO 17025 standards
· Knowledge or understanding of Health and Safety procedures
