Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Groundworker to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with groundworks, site preparation, and general labouring tasks on various construction projects. Duties
- Assisting with ground preparation, including excavation, levelling, and trenching
- Assisting with the installation of drainage, kerbing, and other groundwork components
- Moving materials and tools around the site safely and efficiently
- Supporting the team in setting up site safety measures and signage
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure health and safety compliance
- Assisting with general site duties as required, including loading and unloading materials
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card for Groundworker or relevant construction qualification
- Proven experience working as a groundworker or in a similar construction role (nice-to-have)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy loads safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards teamwork and punctuality
- Basic understanding of site health & safety regulations and practices
