Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in meal planning and portioning to deliver consistent quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple cooking stations
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to uphold a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail when preparing meals and maintaining cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Prior experience serving or interacting with customers is a plus but not required
