Warehouse Operative
Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving the sorting, packing and handling of goods while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort goods efficiently, ensuring products remain at the correct temperature and do not defrost.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and correctly wear the required PPE at all times.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Unpack, pack, load and unload boxes, finished goods and raw materials.
- Complete general warehouse duties, including waste processing and order packing.
- Work to relevant company standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Attend and contribute to daily review meetings when required.
- Regularly attend and contribute to online performance reviews.
- Maintain high standards of facility hygiene, including cleaning floors, walls, conveyors and other areas.
- Follow a “clean as you go” approach at all times.
- Be flexible to meet changing operational requirements and working patterns.
