Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff/Waitress to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently using the POS system
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including daily specials and drink options
- Provide excellent customer service by attending to guest needs and resolving any issues promptly
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to uphold health standards
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
- Support team members to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential; a friendly personality and eagerness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong serving skills with an understanding of customer service excellence
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
