Overview:
We are currently seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional customer service in a busy setting.
Responsibilities:
- welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the front of house area
- Assist with basic food preparation when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Uphold food safety standards and regulations
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels for front of house supplies
Skills:
- Demonstrated hospitality skills with a customer-focused approach
- Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions and order accuracy
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team and provide support where needed
