The Role
We’re looking for a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and be part of a supportive, ambitious kitchen.
You’ll be involved in:
- Daily food preparation
- Stock control and rotation
- Following kitchen procedures and systems
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation
Shifts
- Split shifts, Tuesday to Saturday
- Sunday & Monday off — a rare perk in hospitality
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant kitchen not essential
- Understanding of food production techniques and culinary trends
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
