Hourly Rate £17.00 per hour.
Hours - 40 hours per week - Mon to Fri - between the hours of 7am - 6pm
We are a very successful family run Engineering business located in Hellaby, Rotherham, close to the M18, junction 1. We are a Precision Engineering Company operating in a busy sub-contract environment producing precision components, tooling and assemblies for the Aerospace, Automotive, Energy and Defence Industries.
Due to our increased workload we are now looking to recruit a time served CNC / MANUAL TURNER. You will be required to and must have experience of:
Processing work by reading and understanding engineering drawings
Evaluate the best method and processes to be employed
Programming, setting and operating your own machines
Overcoming problems that may arise during the process
Seeing all jobs through to completion and final inspection
The jobs you will be involved in range from one off's and development work through to small production runs using a wide range of materials ranging from plastics through to high temp alloys.
You will be working on Hurco CNC Turning centres using Winmax controls.
It is essential you have previous experience of working on CNC LATHES.
Experience of CAD systems would be an advantage but it is not essential. It is essential however that you also have the ability to use a Manual Lathe as and when required. You will be proactive and creative in your approach and be able to work within a small, skilful and enthusiastic team.
