Aconda Industrial Carriers is a small but rapidly growing business at a newly refurbished site with good facilities in Witham.
We manufacture remote controlled machinery for the purpose of moving heavy items and export to several different countries.
The role we are looking to fill is for an electrical technician, typical duties include:
- Reading and understanding wire cut lists
- Cutting and crimping wires
- Soldering
- Assembling wiring harnesses
- Testing machinery once built
- Programming machinery
- Monitoring own stock
- Assisting the assembly of machinery
- Helping support customers with programming/diagnostics
Experience of wiring, crimping and soldering is essential. CAN bus knowledge would be advantageous, and a good understanding of electrical fault-finding and basic programming is desirable, although full training will be provided. To be successful, the candidate must have exceptional attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to learn.
Typical hours of work are 07:30 - 16:15.
