Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday (08:30 – 16:30), Friday 08:00 – 13:00 (37 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £14.00 per hour, (approx £26.9k per annum), dependant on experience

About the role:
Due to continued growth within our various teams we are seeking a General Operative. In this role you’ll provide essential, hands-on support across the shop floor, playing a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, safely and to a high standard.
This is a broad, practical role with real purpose and visibility. You’ll contribute to day-to-day operations while gaining exposure to CNC machining and workshop environments, with a clear pathway to develop your skills and progress into more technical CNC or Patternshop roles over time.
What you’ll be doing

Maintaining clean, safe and well-organised workshop areas

Supporting with tools, equipment and materials across departments

Assisting with cleaning CNC machines and basic machine upkeep

Carrying out simple consumable changes such as sanding discs and supporting safe replacement of bandsaw blades following training

Emptying extraction systems and managing waste

Providing flexible, day-to-day operational support where needed
