Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chefs to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis, you will play a vital role in supporting the chefs and ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation and production. Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service periods.
- Support food production by measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes to guests.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to senior staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; a strong willingness to learn is key.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
