Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, create a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure smooth operation of the bar area. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid and involve working during peak hours, including evenings and weekends.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and legal food safety requirements
- Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Handle cash transactions responsibly and process payments accurately
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully stocked throughout shifts
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner to enhance their experience
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety standards
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations relevant to beverage service
- Experience in serving or working within a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Good time management to ensure timely service and minimise wait times
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly demeanour with strong communication skills, including <PERSON> interaction skills
