We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role working within a loud factory environment, where you will be responsible for keeping production running smoothly by loading and unloading machinery, handling materials and supporting the wider production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading machinery safely and efficiently
- Feeding materials into production machinery
- Removing finished products from machinery
- Monitoring the production process and reporting any issues
- Carrying out basic quality checks
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or factory environment
- Comfortable working in a loud and busy factory environment
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to follow instructions and work to set procedures
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working at pace and meeting production targets
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
They operate on a rotating shift working 7AM -3PM and 3PM -11PM.
pay starts at £12.71 with Shift allowance on afternoon shifts. with potential for pay rises once fully trained.
Full training will be provided to the right candidate, although previous factory or production experience is needed/.
