We are looking for an experienced member of staff who is able to take on a Sous Chef role and to work with our dedicated and passionate team. We would ideally like you to have 5 years experience in a commercial kitchen.
The award winning White Horse Country Pub at Thornton, near Bradford has built up an impressive business over the last 13 years. This has been achieved by providing delicious home cooked food of high quality, consistently, with regular 'specials' to showcase seasonal ingredients alongside a regular menu of pub classics.
As we are a 'destination / gastro' pub in a rural setting, you will need to consider transport. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in the team and will run the kitchen in the absence of the chef/owner in this high-pressured environment .
